CONNECTING AFRICAN AND AMERICAN CULTURE

Yet you, LORD, are our Father. We are the Clay; you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand. (Isaiah 64:8)

CULTURE AND COMMUNITY

Our Commitment

TO ENRICH OUR COMMUNITY WITH DIVERSITY

West Michigan, where we are based, has seen a great influx of African immigrants from very different backgrounds. Not every one of them has the same origin or reason for moving to the US. But one thing is common between all, and that is the desire to belong and be valued.

We aim to facilitate the process of settling by connecting people to the right services and activities to enrich their lives

At times, the impacts of being a child immigrant are overlooked in the face of the parents' struggle to get their feet under themselves as quickly as they can.

We see the disparity and work with the children to direct their energy to productive activities.

Being an immigrant brings alot of challenges as life has to begin a new in a different location and often, with the requirement to learn a new language. Sometimes these challenges overwhelm to a point where pinpointing where help could be found becomes a challenge of its own. We help solve some of these problems
