Our Commitment

Connecting people. Mentoring youth. Uplifting artists

Limited resources and funding, cultural stereotypes, biases, language barriers, and institutional challenges all pose challenges to our dream of seeing a West Michigan that loves and embraces the African Diaspora.

We’re keen on fostering cultural awareness and appreciation for African cultures.

Together, we can create a world where diversity is celebrated, and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Grounded in the African principle of 'Ubuntu' (I am because we are).

Through our annual programs and activities, we provide children aged 3-17 with transformative experiences that inspire their creativity, foster their personal growth, and instill a sense of purpose.

An affordable performance art program with an intentional focus on creating professional/semi professional artists through talent development workshops, mentorship and support, and performance opportunities

A dynamic young adult cohort that aims to empower and inspire young African professionals, as well as those starting their careers in the diaspora.

Our program focuses on leadership development, teaching essential employable soft skills, and fostering connections within a supportive community.
