Pathways to Purpose

The Nia na Njia program is a hands-on leadership and career development initiative designed for youth and young adults to explore their purpose and build real-world skills. Through a cohort-based experience, participants collaborate on meaningful projects, gain exposure to professional environments, and develop confidence in their abilities. Nia na Njia emphasizes teamwork, creativity, and personal growth, equipping young people with the tools and mindset to navigate their future with clarity and intention.

College Exposure Initiative
​The Nia na Njia College Exposure Initiative is a collaborative program between Les Clay and African Collaborative Network (ACN) designed to increase interest in higher education among immigrant and first-generation high school students. Through a series of structured campus visits across West Michigan, the initiative will provide youth with direct exposure to college environments, resources, and pathways to enrollment.


Elevate: Youth Conference
The Elevate Youth Conference is a dynamic two-day experience designed to equip emerging young leaders with the mindset, tools, and connections to shape their future with intention. Through interactive sessions, conversations, and collaborative activities, participants explore identity, decision-making, and real-world pathways across creative and professional fields. Elevate creates a space for youth to think critically, build confidence, and engage with peers and mentors, leaving with a clearer sense of direction and a stronger foundation for their next steps.

Hadithi Filmaking Cohort
The Hadithi Cohort is a collaborative storytelling and film initiative that brings together youth to document and share the lived experiences of immigrant communities. Through hands-on training in interviewing, writing, and media production, participants work as a team to develop and produce a collective film project. The program provides youth with the opportunity to build creative and technical skills while engaging deeply with community narratives, ultimately creating powerful stories that preserve culture, amplify voices, and foster connection.
